The recipe
Turmeric, pepper and a good oil
Dr Doug wanted a simple wholefood routine that owners could make in their own kitchen. Golden Paste pairs high-curcumin turmeric with freshly cracked black pepper and a healthy fat, because curcumin needs both to be absorbed well.
Ten minutes at the stove, a jar in the fridge, a spoon over dinner. That's the whole idea.

From one recipe to 280,000 members
In 2012 Dr Doug started the Original Turmeric User Group on Facebook, so owners could share how they make Golden Paste and how they use it.
It now has more than 280,000 members, and the recipe has been cooked in kitchens around the world.
